Full and Half Day Programs

Types of curriculumm that may be used for school readiness: Phonics, the Letter People , HILS and Happily Ever After Program 

• Skills introduced include letter recognition, vocabulary development, visual & auditory discrimination & memory development, comprehension, creative expression, listening & following directions, oral language experience, introduction to good literature, classification & sequencing skills, journal writing.
• In math beginning concepts using manipulatives, work jobs and math games, calendars, measuring, charting & graphing and simple addition are used.
• In science, nature & the animal kingdom especially bug & wolves, space, weather, environmental awareness, horticulture and nutrition & fitness are explored.
• In social studies, a trip around the world is planned, how holidays are celebrated and differences & similarities of people in other cultures are introduced.
• Long term projects develop creativity and knowledge about the subject
